I just bought a 99 Galant 2.4L shortblock.
I've been searching but haven't found alot of info on this build.
I know the pistons have to have the Evo style valve reliefs. Wiseco has built these. I don't know if they are a catalog item? Any other pistons available?
The rods are the same as 4G63.
I'm not 100% on the crankshaft. If it's a forged unit.
I plan on installing oil squirters.
Anybody know what this mysterious waterpump adaptor plate is?
I saw Felpro make an MLS headgasket. Anybody else? Cometic doesn't list one.
Any other info would be helpful.
