Hello, I changed just the exhaust cam in my brother in law's IX. He is running the GSC 272. The cam made a big difference in power all over and mostly on the top. I would say 25 ft-lb on the top, plus it holds the torque band further into the higher rpm's. GSC is working on a intake cam to work with the MIVEC as I speak. I am very impressed with the IX, so much so that I bought one.

looks like TurboTrix sets done. according to this post they are 280s but in another post they said they would be 272s?

More than likely it will be the 269, but that is subject to change as we go through development.

i saw in previous month mag that an evo ix equipped with jun 280 cams and made 407whp with basic mods

 

which Magazine? On Super Street May 2006 has a UK evo 9 that made 841 but i don't think he was using a MIVEC head
