just wanted to say hello to you all...im in tampa fl.getting my new MR this week-ill be checking in alot -i want to mod things right so im sure youll be sick of my questions - but i want know from the experts so...
just got out of a vette-cant wait to get back into an import- before the vette i had a modded cooper s loved it
-anyway, id love to hear any input you all might have.im gonna get into it right away... question 1. what would be the best way to go, as far as the first mods? what would you do if you had about $8,000 to spend (incl. labor)???thanks!!

 

warr. stages ? turbotrix cams, intercooler, IX rear, coilovers + every other frickin thing 2.3 stroker? $8,000 sounds just right

 

Honestly, the IX is such an amazing platform I'd simply do a full TBE (turboback exhaust), K&N drop in, MBC/Flash. The car below did simply that and has a car capable of dipping into the high 11s on pump. Warranty basically intact with all the same reliability/usability of a stock evo. Another member with similar mods has already gone 11.9 at 116 which is incredible.
