CBRD- GT35R pics
its been awhile...
the car has been sitting...
we finally replaced the head gasket, it gave us some problems (the cometic)... we had a local hot rod shop clean up the head when we did the valves etc.... and i think the cut wasnt smooth enough... so we just through in a stock gasket (we have head studs) and some copper sealer.
it sealed fine..
tuned the car on the street...11.4 peak afr...down to 10.9 at redline... 26 psi on the gt35R 93/94 octane street gas... but... we are running an mbc and a soft wastegate spring so boost isn't building quite like we'd like. I will be adding an AVC-R shortly and going to a mildly stiffer wastegate spring.
I'm not sure ill get numbers on the car before we get our dyno at our new shop.
Previous numbers were (mustang dyno)
stock 207whp/230wtq
fmic turboback and fuel pump (our utec tuning) 267whp/286 ft lbs at 19psi
same mods with 880cc injectors and 21 psi 278whp/306 ft lbs
60-1 turbonetics at 23 psi, turbonetics wg, and bov 372whp/331 ft lbs
now with the cams (264/272), stainless steel valves, SPEC clutch and the 35R i expect to see around 430whp-ish on pump gas but, we wont be using the same dyno.
here are the pics.... more to come..

thanks for the compliments
the valve cover will be getting painted shortly...
and, the o2 housing is welded to the turbine... which was kind of a miscommunication between us and rnr when they were building the manifold. it was supposed to be the GT 4 bolt garrett outlet on their mani...
its also an rnr manifold, as noted...we are not in our new facility yet, so we cant do our own fab work at present out of the 2 bay shop, since we always have 2 cars in it to work on (evo and sti)....
the ic/tial bov/piping/etc is our own.
cheers

we like the 4 bolt 3" discharge GT housings... and wanted to be able to swap the 3076R and 35R in and out at will.... im still a bit partial to the 30R for a street setup.
