E10 works fine. It's just about all you can get in the midwest these days. Once upon a time there was talk of tuning for E85 in the Vishnu forums, but I don't think anyone actually tried it...

Has anyone checked out the following: www.abcesso.com ?
Anyone modifying their vehicles fuel source is against the law, unless it's certified. No one in the US has certified an e85 kit for use in the USA, but apparently this kit sold from a company in Brazil has. Aside from the install of this kit, and the replacement of any active metals that come in contact with fuel as well as gaskets, someone more adept at explaining what might need to be done to install this kit could come up with an overall cost of new fuel lines, gas tank, injectors, etc. Too bad my RA doesn't have a turbo or it would benefit further from this install. I don't see a Lancer e85 enabled in the works for the future. I'd definitely be a person making my own fuel (still). You really have to make sure there is no water at all in your alchohol or this leads to an acidic fuel mixture. All benefits and blueprints here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E85

There's a guy with a WRX that has been running 100% E85 for a few years now. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803341

I know in socal, you couldn't get gas that didn't have 10% ethanol in it. That's why pretty much every fuel system is compatible as far as errosion goes.
