Boost help

Hey guys, There is something wrong with my boost. One weekend I put in 100 octane and raised the boost to 1.6 BAR with my perrin MBC. I thought i was overboosting and tried to put the boost back but now i'm only boosting 1 Bar. Is it a boost leak? I REALLY SCARED! PLEASE HELP!
THanks guys

no i havent checked the line yet but when i installered my MBC, I could not take the hose that connected to the turbo so i just caped that off. Then, the nipple that went to the actuator wastgate broke and i just taped it off. I think there is a hole. Could that be it? THanks

COULD THAT BE IT???????????

Are you saying the wastegate actuator nipple broke, or are you saying that one of the unused nipples on the boost control solenoid broke? What do you mean you could not take the hose that connected to the turbo? Do you mean you couldn't take it OFF/ Does this mean you still have the stock boost hose with the restrictor pill still connected to the turbo nipple with a cap in the end of the hose flopping around? Did you then tap into the bov line as your pressure source?

This sounds like a disaster.

there was a small hose that got stuck and was impossiblr to take off so i just left it in there. In the stock set up, there was a T-fitting near the turbo and the wastgate. one of those broke so i taped it up. I think taking the hose off will do the trick. This whole time there was a ristrictor pill. Maybe thats why my cammed evo was just as fast as a stock cammed and stock ECU EVO! Stupid restrictor pill! I did not even know that. THanks for the help wartalon.

i don't operate real well when I lose a nipple. Maybe, shes just upset about it? You might want to add new nipple to that next mods list too.
