David,

No, it's not anyones fault. I was just saying that you have weight savings done to your RS to do that 1/4 mile time with that much HP at the wheels on your dyno.

I brought that up so people don't think that making that much HP with a full weight evo would be capable of those times.

That is all. I 100% agree with you that weight is the enemy.

David must have read your mind. We were comparing the numbers and he printed the graph. I ended up with it. Hopefully Chris doesn't mind me posting it. Chris, I smudged out your last name and license plate for privacy sake.

I was looking at the one log I have from the road last night and determined that it took 6 seconds to go from 30 MPH (2nd gear @ 4164RPM) to 100 MPH (4th gear @ 6848RPM). It took 4.1 seconds to go from 60 MPH (3rd gear @ 5664RPM) to 100 MPH (4th gear @ 6848RPM). I listed the gearing as the AEM MPH is probably not exact.

So let me get this straight. He went 12.0@110 prior to the 20g install, now my buddy Warrtalon did 12.0@114 and he is what I would consider a VERY good driver.

Plus, instead of showing the before and after with JUST the 20g installed there were a host of other parts put in.

What I would like to see is a real world test done of the 20g, a Buschur Stage 4 car, full weight, pump gas, run the quarter mile and be dynod, then the 20g and only the 20g swapped in, pump gas, quarter mile.

I honestly believe you're only going to pick up 30hp at the most in this scenario, which goes back to my price vs power problem. Especially when considering the cost of getting this upgrade for an Evo 8.

Maybe this testing was already done and I didn't see it.

Did you run the 12 flat on race gas or pump?

It was a 50/50 mix of 93 pump and VP 109 unleaded.

Your car was so clean when I seen it there.

I will be back up there in like 2 weeks doing some little odds and ends to mine plus getting it repainted.
