May I ask what country you are from? If you ever need a new transfer case that is not covered under warranty you might be able to get it cheaper through TeamRip in the US. It should cost about $1600 Euro's at the current exchange rate for a new, built TC.

Good luck finding your problem. I know your pain. I 've been through it before with other vehicles.
