Question High Picthed Sound on Boost

I recently upgraded my stock BOV to a Greddy RS BOV... I was running it VTA for about a week but didn't like the slight stall/jerking when shifting . So today I decided to Recirc it. I made sure all the hoses were tight and clamps were secure. but now I have this high pitched whine whenever I am boosting .. doesn't matter what gear or speed just on acceleration where boost is being made. I am sure this has been addressed before but I haven't found anything on it.. PLEASE HELP!!

You have which spring in there? Make sure its the hard one and try driving it around and turn it harder if you still hear it slowly up.

You probably have a large boost leak somewhere. A couple days ago someone else posted about having the same issue. Try a boost leak test.

I have the same problem but except I get a "Boost cut" @ 5,000 RPM going W.O.T.

Thanks Guys... I have checked and looks as though there may have been a leak.. I reinstalled everything and the sound is gone.. but now my boost seems to drop off rapidly ... I am getting a boost gauge installed this next weekend and we will go from there... thanks a lot!
