Question Which Intake set up do you prefer?

I've been searching the net for different styles of intake setups for the evo7 and evo8. and what I found are basically 3 different setups.

* The "ram air" style like those found on the stock evo8, ARC and Monster-sport.

* The "cold air" intake like the AEM brands

* and the "open filter charger" like HKS and Rod Millen.

Which one of these do you guys find to be more effective?

In my opinion the Monster-sport and ARC brand are similar to the stock evo8 setup. both have a duct to collect air from the front grill. The brand name "box's" are just prettier w/the carbon fiber or aluminum.

I read that the open filter style (HKS,Rod MIllen) have a nice throaty sound and the hot air collected from the engine bay won't make a huge comprimise on performance because the intercooler will take care of cooling all incducted air. What's your opinion?
thanks
