As of now, I have HKS rs intake, 3" turbo back, 272 cams, walbro, 21psi, and a custom tune.

My car needs to be retuned. My car will die on occasions and it will idle low. Since I'm getting retuned, I would like to have a mod or more to add some more power. I'm not interested a alky or meth kit so that is out.

Here are some things I've thought about.

FMIC upper and lower ic piping
10.5 hotside
DC Sports header
02 housing

Is there anything else you guys would suggest?

I'm looking for something that will give the best amount of power for the money. Obviously the 10.5 and the header will be cheaper than a fmic and piping, but what would the gains be between the two? I see that RNR is having a group buy on thier intercoolers and they are saying people have seen over 30whp gains on a stock turbo car. I also have people telling me that a fmic is a waste of money on a stock turbo car.

Any of you guys have any suggestions or experience on any of these parts that can actually tell me the gains from them? I need to order something quick before my wife spends the money on something else.

I say get the lower intercooler pipe, 10.5, 02housing, and than fmic later.

I am in almost the same situation except I already have the LICP. I picked up an ebay o2 which was sent to Swaintech for ceramic coating and a TXS IC. I noticed after installing the IC that the car ran ~.4 leaner which will definitely make a difference when tuned.

 

After I posted my post, I thought about I probably need to get the parts that will need tuning. Yours route makes sense cause I don't think a fmic will make much difference in the tune. Or will it?

Any other suggestions?
