Good luck

1 BAR = 14.5, NOT 14.7

A stock 05 VIII or 06 IX will boost 1.40-1.45 WITHOUT pulling the restrictor pill out.

I have an 05 IX and my defi shows peak boost at 1.7bar. But this is only boost spike. Dyno shows peak boost is 1.3bar. its dangerously high if consistently boosting at 1.7bar or even spiking to that level. Installed an EVC V bc to regulate the boost. set low boost at 1.3 and high at 1.4. still a little boost spike but peak at 1.5 instead of 1.7. hope this help..

Yeah if you are using the reading off the stock gauge maybe.... There is no way that it pushes that with the restictor pill in on a dyno or even a lab quality gauge.. ie... defi.

1 bar = 14.5psi not 14.7 so 1.5 bar = 21.75psi and 1.7 = 24.65 psi just thought i would clarify that up.

If it is TT tuned you are probably fine. BUT 1.5 bar is as far as you want to take it on 93 oct. from my knowledge.

You DON'T NEED to pull out the restrictor to read boost. You only need to take out the pill when you hook up a MBC/EBC or piggyback with boost control.
