ok i got the kit installed...im not running exhaust b/c the ams dp is 3 bolt and exhaust is 2 bolt..so takin to shop to get fixed tomorrow

heres my list of mods want to know what u think i can run/hp readings and if u think the car will be ok untill al tunes it:

ams gt35r
272 cams
greddy intercooler
greedy full ic piping
blitz bov
3in ams dp
3 in rsr exhaust
1000cc inj(wont be installed until aem goes in)
ams 4 in intake
walbro 255 fuel pump
arp head studs
turbo xs mbc

u think the car will be running ok until the tuner tunes the aem??how much boost should i run right now until then??well just thought id ask im calling AMS tomorrow to ask the same....thanks...

 

car should run alright if you are changing the injectors with the aem, i wouldnt get on it at all because your a/f ratios will most likely be off. good luck with the tune!

 

Wait and get it tuned before you have fun. Unless you have a wideband and something to control the a/f ratio now I wouldn't want to take a chance. Are you running stock bottom end with gt35r?

ya right now the car is loud b/c no exhaust..but i can still here that gt35r screaming..didnt hammer it at all tho...want to be safe until tune...well this saturday is street car shootout..wish me luck...lookin for 10's...

 

ya the aem i bought has built in widebrand but does nothin now...but yeah im not gonna go crazy just yet...ill post up times and we have no awd dyno in hawaii but ill ask the tuner what he thinks im pushin....i suggest the AMS gt35r over all kits...very very nice and easy to install...and the kit installed in about 2 hrs if that...but ran into problems of course with other parts....thbanks guys keep um coming...oh and yes its stock bottom end...for now......

yeah stock tranny and tc....ill ask ams what they think about upgrading it...will the car run alright with out tune???thats my main question...well i love my car and the kit now....

 

Get rid of that mbc and get the aem b/c it works like a champ or you can use the gm b/c its like the same thing but a lil cheaper thats what im running. Keep it under 25 psi till you get a build block ive seen to many people blow there motor cuz they think there car is unbrakeable. Yes you can go past that but you have to tune it on the safe side. Good luck i can wait till i get my kit very soon.

 

well i have a tuner flying in...so i have to get my aem installed and 1000cc ams inj...car should be sick..the guy knows his **** so well see what he says...i got street car shootout saturday too so wish me luck...gonna go with c16 and higher boost....well i love the kit and got on it one good time today and without tune i can still feel her want to run from me,and it spools nice and screams..I LOVE AMS

 

is it Al thats tuning your AEM? I heard Sean Ivey is the man with the AEM, I believe he also tuned Al's car?
