That said too, they are in my back yard. No offense warr, but you dont do your sponser credit. *** didnt say anything about vendors just you.
Make sense in that case - just a bummer that you have to pay for a full EcuTek license instead of just modifying the existing flash. Unavoidable in this case, I suppose.

What do you mean I don't do my sponsor credit? Not sure what you're referring to, and I'm not sure what the asterisks mean.

I can't imagine an un-cammed VIII on pump w/ a flash going to make 340-ish on AMS's dyno

The difference in my mods compared to yours...I had an AMS intercooler and LICP, test pipe, AMS intake, and something you have I didnt, the 02 housing and 10.5 hotside. Just to compare numbers. By the way, I'm mikes friend from Damar, we met while you were having the work done there. One thing you might want to check into, dont know how much it affects power but are the helix dp and HKS exhaust a full 3" all the way through? I saw a post awhile back from AL at dynoflash where he measured some exhausts and the HKS I believe was smaller in diameter. Also, im sure the high flow cat is restricting you somewhat.
Sorry off topic...is damar a shipping company in wood dale?

I made 308 hp with basically the same mods as you but without the 10.5, 02 housing, or flash. Granted your torque numbers are way higher because of the flash, but your power does seem a little low.

I think AMS's AWD dynojet reads lower than some dynojets.

Friend of mine was dynoed at 309/312 with close to the same mods..03 turbo,264 hks,BR mas pipe..and ran 111mph in the 1/4 on straight 93oct.

So I think your #'s are good.

I can say this, Martin DEFINATELY knows what he is doing. It is not the tune!
Same here, same dyno, roughly 300 +/- at 16 psi. Fixed the boost leak, added meth, and picked up the other 50. UTEC tuned.

for what it is worth, you can not compare two different cars with two different dyno's.

i say this about once a week, a dyno is just a tool, its not magic, yes some people, especially some dyno shops/tuners like to do whatever they can to run some bogus correction factor to make themselves look better.

but at the end of the day, a dyno is just a tool. some work better than others. some are more expensive then others. there are a million factors. whether it be temperature, elevation, humidity, density. etc etc etc. that change dyno readings.

your best indication is run the thing at the track. the traps dont lie

I just want to be clear on one thing that I wasn't clear on initially. I totally forgot to ask why the car was retuned if it was already tuned. Was this car retuned because it had new mods added? If so, was the previous tune (flash) set for the previous mods or current mods? Just want to be clear on that subject...

Dyno, smyno.........check out this link. My car made 314whp on Martin's dyno.

The footage is from Road atlanta, in the Time Trial group, with Open Passing.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=190724

See how my measily 314whp stacks up.

Who cares, some of us are tired of hearing reasons why he should have stuck with flash tuner A. If he was happy he would have stayed put. It seems like you try and pry every piece of info so you can try to sell upon him another companys flash or defend your sponsor tuner, moreso now since he is banned from evom.

How could you go wrong with Martin at the controls. He tunes everything from his customers cars to his very own which is more that I can say for some.

IMO I think it is time that evolutionm made you pay to play here. If you are going to proxy sell products for your sponsoring vendors I think you should have to become a silver vendor at the least.

I just had my car on the dyno at AMS 2 weeks ago and got 301whp and 281 tq. Martin said that my numbers were very good considering the mods I have. My car peaks at 21psi.

Just thought I would give you some numbers from the same dyno even though my mods are a little different.
