IC pipe leak and BOV question

installed my buschur deluxe w/ upper/lower pipes, and there is a sound like a pig being stuck when i'm on boost around 4k-redline. the coupler from lower pipe to IC had a poke in it (like from a flat head) so i got some hose repair tape and threw it on in severe amounts, it seems better now, but it's still making the noise w/ a power loss...can something else be loose or is it that coupler for sure?
Question #2. my BLITZ DD bov is letting air flow through it a little at idle...do i need to tighten it up or is this normal?

get a new coupler, for sure and 1G bov from buschur for your uicp which i assume is flanged and crush it.no comp. surge or fluttering at all. very smooth drivability. should hold 24lpsi fully crushed. or get yourself a forge rs bov. also from buschur. you,ll like your car much better

sounds like a plan. i'm running the blitz DD right now but i'll throw that 1st gen crushed on tonight and a new coupler. also, the stock lower IC pipe has a vacuum line coming off of it, do i need to retap that line, can i plug it or can i just leave it open? it is the vacuum line that is t'd off of the wastegate actuator and runs straight into the stock pipe. thanks for the answers.
