Thermal Research Exhaust, Anyone have one? Input?

Let me start out by saying I come from the DSM world where Thermal Exhaust is the way to go. I love its deep tone and not really loud at WOT, that is why I have an O2 dump .

I am looking at getting a Thermal for my EVO and have not heard much about it. I want to run it with a test pipe and down pipe, 3" all the way. Does anyone have any input on the exhaust? Sound clips? Pictures installed? I am trying to research this before I purchuse an exhaust system.

I have looked through the EXHAUST THREAD on here and there is not much info on the Thermal. Please post with any input!

I built up an exhaust using their muffler round 7"x16" unit. It's very quiet outside, & a bit quieter on the inside too. This is compared to a magnaflow muffler 5"x8 x14" oval.

Do you have pics of your setup? I have a friends thats interested in the thermal catback but mainly because of the muffler. Which muffler did you end up getting (model number)?

I had Thermal on my 90 talon TSi as well but I found theres a lot more choices for evos than dsms so I ended up going with a much cheaper priced one on the evo. If you are looking for a Thermal one though, let me know. I have a friend that has a brand new one to sell.

Not sure of the model number, just go to their website & look it up based on the dimension listed above.

Here are 2 pics.

This does not look like something that Thermal provided as a direct bolt on. I am wondering about the direct bolt on style. Thanks!
