i would say at least 1000cc +fuel rail, FPR for the 35r, but your stock injectors should be ok @ 28psi. your stock ignition system however will not keep up over 27psi though. get 2 step colder spark plugs & an ignition amp. if you already have a walbro u should be good 2 go.

If you plan on using most of that 1000cc injectors, you're going to need a bigger turbo and with that, you're going to need an entire fuel system (dual pumps/one bigger-than-255lph pump, -10/-8 AN lines, AFPR, etc etc... ). . Why do people get bigger injectors than needed unless you plan on going bigger later? If you're going to do that, you might as well just get the bigger turbo now then? I guess I must be missing something and don't get it.

There is no need for 1000cc injectors for a GT35R. 880cc is plenty.
About the only way one finds a need for 1000cc injectors in a GT35R application is if he is running an AEM EMS, and only because the EMS has the WRONG injector drivers for the EVO.
The EMS is configured for low-performance high-impedance injectors. The EVO comes equipped with peak and hold, LOW impedance injectors. Few people are even aware of this, so they just spit out injector sizes without rhyme or reason.
The EMS cannot control low impedance injectors correctly, so oversizing the wrong impedance injectors is at best a band-aid fix. Of course, one can change that by investing another $300 in AEM's low impedance injector driver upgrade. Just FYI.
And yes, stock injectors are fine for a stock turbo 05 running 28psi in the midrange and meth injection.
