too much stagger for ACD

Not sure if this question goes in this forum, or maybe the tire or even motorsports forum...

For autocross, I'm considering a staggered setup with 275/40 V710s on the front and 245/45s on the rear. According to the math, the difference in diameter of these tires should be only .02 inch - essentially the same at 25.7. Tire rack lists them both at 25.4, and according to Kumho the 245/45 is in fact 25.7, and the 275/40 is 25.4.

So assuming a worst case of a difference of .3 inch in diameter, this yields a difference of approximately an inch per revolution, or 180 yards for one revolution difference, and 10 revolutions difference per mile.

This doesn't sound to me to be enough of a difference for the ACD to care, but does anyone know for sure? How much of a difference in rotation does there need to be before the center diff will react?

Thanks - George
