Cosworth = Cometic (head gasket)

I was down at the Long Beach GP Champ Car event talking to some of the Cosworth guys. The head package is NICE... Anyways, found out that the Cosworth head gasket is a repackages Cometic head gasket. The Cosworth piece runs for $73.00 while the Cometic runs anywhere from $90 - $120, all prices online. So you actually save some money if you buy the Cosworth head gasket plus having some bragging rights of some sort. Just FYI... for those who may be interested.

Be careful jumping to conclusions on that one. They are having many of their parts manufactured to their specification by other high quality sources. The specification could be different even with the same company of origin.

Those were the words straight from the mouth of the Cosworth people - "It's a repackaged Cometic head gasket." Don't blame the messenger :-P

A cosworth logo is etched into the gasket, so its not exactly just repackaged.
