Does this go along with the 600whp you put out on pump gas

Hey Frank i would look into the 3076 with the .63 ar! If 400whp pump gas is your goal....dynojet, you don't want a 35r.

But still, any gt series turbo will really shine with more boost and higher otctane! I think the setup you have is very good for pump only....

The 20G-9 seems the most driveable of them all, making great numbers as well.

Just the same, having been in a 50 Trim car, T67 car, GT35R cars and such, piling on the boost makes the car quick, spooling becomes secondary.

Figure moving 50% more air (guessing, I know Im way way off), and when you push so much more air down the throat of the engine, regardless of max spool PSI at a speciific RPM, the car still makes more power throughout.

The 20g-9 seems great though

Then the next ? is how much more am I going to get using just pump gas? & is it worth it?

Thanks!
Your best bet for a 2.0l will probably be a 50 trim or 3076. Either one will get you close to 400 dynojet whp on pump, maybe a little more if your setup gels. Full spool on the street will be around 4000 rpm (+/- a few 100, depending on your setup - e.g. cams, cam timing, intake manifold, etc.). It's certainly not going to be cheap. There is simply a limit to how much power you can make out of 2 liters of displacement using pump gas. As you approach that limit (which you are) you have to ask yourself: Do I want to get more power via additional displacement or better knock control (i.e. higher octane or water/meth injection)?

P.S.: ...and could someone p-l-e-a-s-e put a sock in the lunacy being spewed by blkAMSevo8? It seems his hp claims were based on a shetland pony...

That's a good point. Or to put it differently, a bigger turbo may not make full boost as early as the smaller one, but if the smaller one hits full boost at a given RPM, the larger one will probably make that same boost or more at that same RPM, and it still has more to go.

I saw screw pump gas and run alky 24/7, but even with alky a 30r is a nice combo for the streets...

So let me get this straight, 600whp on straight 93... did God come down from heaven and tune it?

Funny because the most Ive seen out of straight pump gas has been 470whp on a built GT35R'd car, including a sheetmetal/280s. So your car has a magical additional 130+whp? Give me a break. Stop running your mouth with non-sense and cluttering the thread. Put up or shutup.

You sound like you're interested in the same numbers as I am.. I'm looking at a 50 Trim setup or a 20G-9.. 50 Trim seems like the way to go, as it appears it outshines a GT30xxR by quicker spool and the same power output on pump. ...I heard 800 whp @ 45 psi on straight 93 oct

but seriously, 50 Trim

There are quite a few of us that have maxed out our EVO's with bolt ons.

To make my car faster I'm going the weight reduction route.
When serious about racing I run the car at 25PSI on 103 octane.
I'm more into road racing than drag racing otherwise I'd just slap on a 50 shot of juice for the straightline stuff. You can easily have better than stock spool, cooler intake temps, 50-100 HP, and all this can be had for $300 and 3 hours worth of work.

There isn't much tuning to be done. As long as you are running a safe tune base map all you really need to do is install a wet kit with the correct jetting and you're ready to tear it up.
