The reason the problem could go away for a while after you change plugs is that when you remove and reinstall the plug wires to change the plugs they probably make a good contact from being pushed back on. Then after a while of vibrating and heatcycling the wires loose that contact.
You da man again!! That is what I would have said if I had more coffee in me!

If I remember correctly I had this problem before I switched out plug wires. It just seems to happen quicker now for some reason.

Read my post. when I had the problem BEFORE, it was the plugs/coils. I really dont want to type any more, because you are coming up with reasons of WHY its NOT the Magnacore wires. (again, I had your stance a while ago also) I wont reply any more on here UNTIL you change the wires. if you wont/dont, thats OK. But one day you will change them back, and say "Damn he was right". Later.

I had the stock plugs no issues, changed to the Magnacores and it kept breaking up, Swtich the plugs to the bpr7es' and the problem went away for a week, Changed the wires back to Stock, Problem went away for a month. Just came back yesterday. Anyone got any ideas on what it should be, i just changed my 02 housing and my 02 sensor. if that helps. When i tested the 02 sensor it was working tit.

Yesterday i go to start the car, Misfire all over the place, Stuttering, like no tommorw. shut it off, wait a min, turn it back on. problem goes away. im driving on the highway last night, im in the middle of 3rd and i roll into the throttle, and right around 6k it breaks up again. Any ideas?

Or maybe its NOT the Magnacore wires, but a loose connection to his flux-capacitor! I didn't want to hear it, neither does he!!! We know better now, dont we mxjs?

Then you might have my other problem. I stripped 3 bolts on my coilpacks, and caused my coils to lift at around the same RPM, so I tapped out the bolts, and that went away.

Disconnect the negative on the battery, to re-set the computer. keep us posted if you can elaborate on mods, that would help!!

hell yeah, when i started having the problems i was pissed because i just replaced the coilpacks(had a bad one), sparkplugs, sparkplug wires(magnacores) and added the DLI. After reading your thread i had my friend come ove in his evo and borrowed his wires to see if that changed the problem and behold it ran perfect on the stock wires. I went straight to mitsu and order a set for 28 bucks. Magnacore=misfire

I will put my DLII back on once I get another turbo I just took everything off to make sure it would be fine until I had more time to troubleshoot.

I thought about pulling mine also, but the car MISFIRED worse with it disconnected. (stock coil clips re-connected), so I knew it Wasn't the DLI-II.

I did this as well and havent had a problem since. I definitely need to switch back to some stock wires.
