Engine

i got the service engine soon light after driving the car around without knowing the intercooler piping was loose. i went and got my codes read and its a po234 which is engine overboost condition. its becuase of driving with the upper intercooller piping partially off. so would i be ok to jsut pull the neg off my battery or should i take it to the shop and have them look at it?

If your IC piping is off then put it back on! Duh..
Reseting your ecu wont fix anything. The check engine light will come back. Fix your piping.

If you fixed it then yeah, try resetting the ecu. If the light comes back then get it checked out.
