pop sound wtf happend

I was on the freeway on the way back from a car show about 30 min ago and i was in a hurry on teh way home... i was in 5th gear and goin about 80. i slammed on teh gas to pass someone and i heard a pop. it sounded like a silicon hose poping of the intake manifold or somthin but that wasnt it. any thoughts?

Is the car still driving fine? Perhaps you blew off an IC hose, but it's still making enough of a connection to drive the car under light throttle?

I say this because I've popped the IC hose off of the throttle body inlet a number of times.

Go check your connections before asking us. We don't know, because we can't see it.

1st, go tighten all of your intercooler clams with a screwdriver. Check all of your vaccum lines that you can see, to make sure theyre connecte right. 3rd, what do you have done to the car, what yr, miles?

So, you checked every IC connection, including the LICP down under the car behind the bumper? What was the result of checking your IC connections? You didn't give us any details...

They LOOK like they're all good??? Come on, man, you have to verify that every single IC connection is tightened down and then you have to do a pressure test to ensure there are no leaks that can't be seen by the naked eye.

is it possible that its somethin else, or is the ic piping the only possibility? basically the only mods i got are intake, exhaust and a manual boost controller
