Noise on cornering

Noise on cornering

Hi all. I have a 96 EVO 4 and its just started to develop a strange wooorrring noise when I corner it hard? Any ideas?

are you running larger tires or have suspension work done? Does it happen when you corner hard in both directions? If so....I may lean towards rubbing on the inner fender wells since it happens when you coner hard only. Other wise it may be drivetrain related. It is an older Evo...possibly wheel bearings, but they tend to click in my experience and do it at low speeds/all speeds. Look under the front tire (tyres for you you huh?) and see if its rubbing, if not....start looking at cv joints, axles, center diff.....

Those are my best guesses. Hope it helps.

Thanks, i have put bigger rims and ultra low profiles on recently. I have checked and it is the tyres (tires, haha). Thanks for you advice.

my plastic peices are real loose and they rube when i put it into a corner real hard, but if it aint that i dont know what to tell you
