Front Diff broken?

during the past autocross i noticed that when i would be going around a wide sweeping corner and slowly adding in more throttle the car would not smoothly accelerate; instead it would feel kind of like it's hopping - lurching forward in intevals. I remember the car being much smoother last year. Is this symptoms of a broken front diff or is this normal?

Was it making any noises? When was the last time you changed all your transaxle fluids?? i.e....tranny,tc, and rear.

I had a similar problem with my GSX, until the whole front end locked up and the car will absolutly not go forward. But the car will roll backwards with no problem....i still have yet to take it apart to see what the issue is. but make sure all you change all of your fluids and see how it acts after that.

Its called your transfer case bit the big one.

Fisher22,

Drain your transfer case and then go through the fluid with a magnet to see if there are big chunks of metal in it.

just thought of something else... could it just be my rear lsd from trying to accelerate while on three wheels?
