Which came first the chicken or the egg? No one has any definitive answers.

Well I have the 264/272 combo right now. Nice spool, nice idle, but I can't compare it to anything just yet. Next friday (05-05), I am putting in a 280in cam in place of the 264. I need to get to a dyno this week so that i can have some comparison numbers.
