Invidia Cast O2 Housing (pics)

Here are a few pics of the Invidia O2 housing I just had installed with my 20G-9-6 turbo.

Fitment was perfect. This O2 housing is big. The outlet is much bigger than the "ebay" housings and this thing is case. Also it retains the mounting flange to the engine block. Its a very nicely built piece.

SICK. Where did you get that and how much was it? Also, what DP are you using this with?

That looks like a good piece, Do you have any dyno sheets prior so we can compare?

I got it from SRT Motorsports and they go for something like $225. The DP I am using is a WORKS DP, but I understand it will work with almost any other DP as well.

Although it will be hard to dyno before and after power gains since I have added a 20G-9-6 at the same time, I will post dyno numbers (maybe charts) nonetheless in about a month.

That's the one thing I don't like about it. I don't know why Invidia relocated the O2 sensor location.

looks like it's going to be the new "HOT MOD" for the evo.

if they're going to relocate the 02 bung at least plug the old one up better, fill the hole up from the inside so it doesn't create turbulence in the exhaust. i always thought it's not a good idea to weld cast iron because it makes it brittle.

is the donut gasket made of brass?
can you measure to see if the exit port is 3". thanks,

i'm concern about the mounting point for the down pipe. it looks considerably thinner than the stock one. looks like it could brake off.

It is thinner, but it is more than enough to withstand the vibrations. Also, don't forget that there is a third flange which attaches to the engine block which other tubular 02 housings will not have.
