Another difference between the Works o2 housing and the Invidia is that the Invidia separates the gas flow from the wastegate from the air coming out ot the turbine with the wall inbetween the two holes in the bottom of the housing. This "should" make more power by mixing the two flows further down the exhaust stream. The support bracket should help more with aftermarket tubular manifolds from creeping and eventually cracking than it would with the longevity of the housing itself. Hope this isn't entirely off topic, but just a few observations.

Interesting observation.

It should work with most downpipes that use the stock donut gasket. I had a little trouble using the the provided donut gasket because I have the WORKS downpipe, but I modified the stock donut gasket so it would work with the WORKS downpipe. I don't think it will be much of a problem for other brand downpipes using a donut gasket.

The vendor I bought it from said that Invidia unit would also work with the stock downpipe.

Pricey? It's less than half the cost of the WORKS unit. Just look at what you get compared to the ebay housings.

turbo xs made some early dp's to be used with 3" donut gaskets.

buy 1 of those for ~$175 & you'll be set @ the fraction of the cost of a works piece.

Would you happen to have a suitable replacement for the discharge tube Abby?

At the moment I am still using the stock Evo 8 discharge tube and it is too tight of a fit for my liking.
