Ok, the engagement point on my ACT clutch is at the top of the pedal.
I got my car none running, so I didn’t how the stock clutch felt. I first put in a clutch net 6puck disc with the stock pressure plate. It grabbed great, but the clutch would engage at the high point of the pedal. I mean, when driving, tapping the pedal will cause it to slip. ACT man said that’s because the 6 puck does not have the cushioning like an organic disc. Then I put in a new ACT disc with the stock pressure plate. It would still engage high. If I adjust the rod to lower down the pedal, I would get lock out.
Then finally I got an ACT pressure plate and put that in with the disc I had before. STILL the same crap. I had to adjust it even higher because of the lockout in high rpm’s.
I have bled the system about 3 times with no effect. I took out the restrictor pill and have the SS line.
This really sucks for launching because I would have so much dead play at the bottom of the pedal, and causes me to bogg a lot or slip excessively.
Any ideas what would be the issue? Would an extended rod help, or even a shorter rod?

My current Evo with stock clutch, my previous Evo with stock clutch, and my previous Evo with ACT clutch all engaged at the end of upwards pedal travel. It sounds like you own an Evo; nothing else.

WOW, please adjust your clutch pedal. It needs to be done with any aftermarket clutch instal. Some shops will do it when they install the clutch.
Takes like 2 minutes from inside of the car. No big deal.

If the aim is to have all pedals at about the same height then the adjustment won't work. I have my pedals about the same height and the clutch engages at a high point. If I adjust the pedal, yes the clutches engages where I want it to be but then the clutch pedal is much lower than the other pedals. I hope that made sense.
