Has anyone tried those $199 Ebay TBE's?
I haven't posted pics cause I thought HIPSI9 was going to. I will get some for you ASAP. If someone could help with info on how to do a sound clip I will provide this also.
As for the down pipe clearing the ACD, get the hammer and a block of wood, needs minor bending. Then fits like your girls "french tickler"

I got mine installed over the week-end ....
This time around, I'm on a limited budget, trying to make my car run 11's with less than $1,500.
So far, I have spent $300 on a turbo-back (ssautochrome) I gotta say, we didn't see anything wrong with the welds, nor the material or quality of stainless tubing used at all. Some of the welds looked like they had been over twice, but other than that ... a damned clean setup for the money.
Points to remember, the supplied doghnut gasket does not fit, so we re-used the stock one. Some of the bolts supplied, were not all the same size, I will replace these with stainless ones at a later date anyways, so I don't care.
If you have an EVO IX, you will need to bang part of the downpipe to clear the acd ... really not a big deal. SSautochrome could do a minor updated and probably work on both styles of evo's.
The sound ... sounds great IMO. I've been through all kinds of exhausts on several differen't vehicles ranging from my 02 WRX, 04 STi and my 05 300c SRT8 ...... there is nothing bad anyone can say about the sound of this thing.
The Look ... to me, it looks better than the pictures on ssautochrome's site .... it doesn't look much diff. from anything else I see out there.
For the money ... an absolutely great buy. If you care what other people think about a cheap "ebay" brand ... well, you have other issues. I personally, don't give a crap what the negative brand name buyer has to say about my turbo-back. I'm only out $300, they're out over $500 easily for a full turbo-back, with a race pipe. (we all know it is probabably closer to $900)
Now on the other hand, would I buy their wastegates, turbos and turbo manifolds .... I would probably say no. But, for stuff after the turbo it really isn't rocket science.
Now, I have a couple of hundred aside for my dynoflash, and I'm working on making an intake here shortly. Of course, I will also have a few hundred put aside to do my clutch, still undecided on which one to get, but leaning towards an Exedy, with an organic street disk, which is supposed to hold 40% over stock power.
I will probably also do the fuel pump prior to the reflash ....
I don't plan on doing a turbo upgrade on the car, so it should work fine.
After all of this is said and done, I could very well be under $1300. Then, off to Topeka I go .... maybe KCIR, we'll see ....
For all who are going to flame me for putting this exhaust on my car ... save it. I don't care. Until you experience the exhaust yourself, on first hand basis, you have nothing to say.

I just ordered mine a couple of weeks ago. Kenneth2000 I think we were bidding against each other... lol.
I'm at the track right now getting some 'baseline' passes in before I install the exhaust.
I have pics of everything that was sent to me. It looks like a nice system. Only thing I noticed right off the bat was that the DP will need to be opened up a little bit at the flange. I'll get some of the install too later on this week.
