Pics of my cracked piston

Well, I finally got off the couch this weekend and finished ripping the head off the car. The pictures speak for themselves.

if that isnt the truth......forget about the labor (which is why I am biting the bullet and doing the work) the damn cost of the parts is what hurts.

anybody have a clue as to how the metal from that piston ended up in all the cylinders? I am still trying to figure that out.

doubt that..would need alot of boost and NOS lol to blow the head studs

well it cant spread from cylinder to cylinder..

didnt you take the head off ? how were the valves?

i read your other thread and compression seemed low in all the cylinders.. not just the cracked one
