Coolant Hoses - Trouble

I took the coolant hoses to the throttle body off a several months ago, and plugged both the supply and return. There is another thread on the subject. But what I find interesting (or concerning depending on how you look at it), here's another pic of that same hose. I went ahead and split the hose further, so that I could see the inside of the hose. Look at all those lateral striations in the hose! Makes me wonder if all the hoses look like that, and it's just a matter of time before another blows out.

The car is an 03, 3 yrs. 7 mos. old with 50k miles. I guess I'm replacing all my coolant hoses in the near future.

Edit: I didn't really take the coolant hoses off the car, just off the throttle body supply and return nipples, and left the hoses on the car, just plugged the ends of the hoses.
