My Full Race DIY install

Here's my DIY 02 housing I fabbed from scratch. It features a full uncheated 3 inch radius and very convienent vband clamp. It is made of stainless steel and is fully TIG'd. To make the install easier, my dp will be 2 pieces, and my plans are to assemble the manifold, turbo, wastegate, and 02 housing as one piece which will then be installed on the car.

Now... how does it all fit? what's this mess I heard on EVOM about these things being a pain to install?

Phase 1 complete! Phase 2 tomorrow! I still need to fab the rest of the 3 inch stainless steel dp, my aluminum 2.5 inch lower intercooler pipe, dumptube, and connect all the misc plumbing using our Speed Element GT install kit.

Thanks for reading

Some of the nicest welding I've EVER seen on a DIY project.. Nice job! You might want to put a heat shield, or wrap the pipe near the compressor thats damn close to something easily damaged by extreme heat.

he has the gold heat tape for that.

i don't see what's so hard about the fitment when your engine is out and your made your own o2 housing... as i recall the controversial threads said that you either 1) make mods to the o2 housing or 2) put the thing on while your block is out of the car... both of which you are doing.
