I don't know why it would be hard to get out of gear. That is usually not a clutch issue unless you are not getting full disengagement and you are pulling the shifter when under load (accel or decel load) which I doubt that you are. The "dreaded lockout" as Warrtalon commonly associates with ACT, is a problem that occurs on many clutches. Our's just happens to be very popular.

 

Do you have upgraded bushings?
