Aight we are talking in general here, not a specific turbo but more of the manufact..

I think Garret has been making turbos longer than most other companies. I also see that many OEM manufacturer's use their units from Mercedes to Saab even to Mitsubishi themselves.
An unfortunate variable in this situation is there is a difference b/w an OEM style to a full out peformance upgrade (read, T25 to GT35R.....)
