It's possible and has been achieve on only the most completely stretched to the limit setups running e85 on max boost kill mode tunes with full port work and fuel upgrades. Most people cannot achieve that kind of power on a stock turbo though. You're also going to need a built bottom end most likely. The torque is going to hit hard and fast on the stock snail.

Here's english racing doing it.

400 is a more realistic limit for most people and at that level you will probably burn out the turbo quite quickly.

You might get bombarded with the phrase "search first" because there are tons of dynos of stock turbo cars etc and im sure this has been covered before.

Also your question is pretty vague.

500 crank horse power? 500 dynojet? 500 mustang? 500 safely? if you were more specific it would be a little more helpful. But 500 crank horsepower is totally possible, 500 dynojet, also not too unbelievable, 500 mustang... probably not likely that the turbo will last long, but im sure its been done.

That turbo will be way past it's efficiency range and will go bad quickly working it like that. And 500 hp stock Evo engines don't last long either. I don't care that there's people making that and more. It will not last over 40k

Yea, its been done, but I dont see the need of pushing the turbo that far. At that point I would just go with one of the stock frame upgrades and or a t3/t4 setup. just my $.02

yea you need a fully built car to do that i dont see you spending 20k+ just to keep the stock turbo unless your a shop and just want the record on top of that you will hit that 500 but boost power etc will fall off quickly so you will not be there long enough to care.

OP, as most have said, SEARCH. There are many threads on the limits of the stock turbo. You are way out of the stock turbo's efficient range and it will fail prematurely. Since you have a IX turbo, search a bit and I bet you will find an option or two.

Sounds like a lot of work. Whats holding you back from a larger turbo?
