Just got home from Buschur

Like the title says...I just got back home to Wisconsin from Buschur racing with my new Buschur 2.3L motor and 35R set up. The car made it all the way back no problems at all, AEM EMS tune was spot on. Ill post some pics tomorrow and some dyno numbers, Im just way too tired right now since I was up to leave by 3:30am. I was more than impressed by everyone at Buschur that I delt with, Dave, Dan, and Jarrod. Every question I had was answered and even though there were a few problems with the 35R kit I brought to be installed, Dan really went out of his way to help me out and didnt charge me an arm and a leg to make things right. Anyone looking for a place to have work done, I'd highly recommend Buschur. More to come on the car tomorrow....

Im in Germantown now but I used to live a few houses down from bolsen. As soon as I get some more miles on the clutch Ill be going to the track to see what it can do.

As far as Dyno numbers the car put down 363hp 322tq on pump gas(93) at 22psi and on pump gas(93) plus alchy the car put down 398hp and 363tq at 25psi. When David tried to turn the boost past 25psi it wouldnt go any higher and they wanted to put on a new boost controller for me as they diagnosed that as the problem but didnt have one available and I was already in Ohio to get the car so as of now the car is limited at 25psi. David did however tell me the car would be safe to 30psi with alchy with the tune he gave me so once I get a new boost controller Ill have to turn the boost up a bit. For daily driving the car is wicked fast where it is now and Im more than happy. I dont have a scanner and my camera is in cancun with my mom so eventually Ill post up pics and the dyno sheets. One thing that surprised me was the spoolup and just how much power the car has in lower rpms. I hit 25 psi at 4300rpm but im making almost 360tq and 320hp at that point. At 3800rpm Im at 15psi but made 200hp and 270tq which for the Buschur low reading dyno I think is fairly good. My AFR's are 11.8 max and 10.9 min.

Mods:
Buschur 2.3L stroker shortblock with crower rods
RnR 35R with 4" intake
Alchy
AEM EMS
65mm Throttle body and ported intake manifold
Buschur Coil on plug ignition with CDI box
3" turboback
HKS 272's
AMS FMIC
Walbro 255
Buschur Motor Mounts
Exedy Twin HD
1,000cc injectors
Buschur Valve Spring and Retainers
AMS Fuel Rail
AMS Boost Controller
AMS UICP with Tial BOV
and some other unimportant things

The RnR kit looks great and performs well, I dont want to bash a company or their product on here because I do like the kit, especially for the price. If you want to know some of the issues with the install Pm me and Ill let you know, it wasnt anything major and wasnt anything I havent heard of other people having issues with using this kit. The fitment of the kit was great.

Hmmm, the numbers seem low. But, the 35r doesn't wake up until 28#+

We need to get you a boost controller! 30# here we come!!!

yeah they are a bit low but thing is I cant get past 25psi and like you said the 35R loves higher boost. Also, I talked with David about the numbers and according to him they are about right for 25psi on his dyno.

Hey Tom,

Congrats on the set-up! I am very jealous. Let me say that again, I am very jealous.... Couple of quick questions.

1. Spool seems slow compared to an AMS or Buschur kit. See link: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&postcount=116

Is the 4300rpms a fourth gear pull? A stock 2.0 with a Buschur kit is full boost by 4100rpms, so shouldn't you be closer to 3700rpms with a stroker????

2. When can I go for a ride.......

Thanks-Big Boost

1) It doesnt say on the dyno sheet what gear was used so I dont know.

In that post he logged 20psi just before 4500rpm and on the street 20 psi and 4000rpm.....I dont know what my log is on the street but on the dyno I hit 25psi at 4300 so 5psi more but 200 rpms less than that post. Even compared to the street numbers, they hit 20 psi at 4100 rpm...Im at 20psi around 4000rpms as well but on the dyno and according to that post on the street then I would be spooling up 400rpm's quicker so that would put me at 25 psi at 4000rpm. I feel like that post shows Im spooling quicker to a higher level of boost???

2) Whenever you want, you live in wisconsin??
