Where is the boost?

Hi

first I have to tell that I have stock 04 evo 8 (US spec), but it was damaged IC, so that I have to weld it on pipes.

And the problem is, that there is only 0,93 bar (measured on Blitz TT) of boost maximum (peak).

Can somebody tell me what is the standard boost on Evo 8, and what are the main reasons (expect repaired IC) for low boost?

thanks

Matej

stock hits 19psi then tapers to 16 i believe... sooo in bars... that's 1.29bar to 1.08bar

should be right unless i did my math wrong

I believe there is a how to on here somewhere about doing a boost leak test. Its pretty easy, you just have to make up a test rig, and attach right onto your turbo.
