I also use that CRC product. Like the post says, the idle does seems smoother.

the CRC stuff is not supposed to be used on Karmen Vortex sensors like the ones found in our cars... it says so right on the bottle. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Used for over 130k as have countless others can't see any downside unless you stick the nozzle in there and break the little resistor wire

You'd have to be about an idiot to do that. Wonder what their reasoning is?? Likely a CYA thing if someone breaks the little wire

I don't know what their reasoning is for not recommending it on KV equiped vehicles, but I do know they are a local company (to me) and they do all their vehicle testing at the shop I go to (RT/Tuning). I've seem them at work (back to back testing on cars) and know the dyno results they report on the can are real gains they've measured on the dyno. To me that gives them creditability. So I have to believe if they say not to use in on our cars there is a reason behind it.

I don't care what anyone else does to their cars, or how many times they've used it, but if the manufacture specifically says NOT to use in on a certain vehicle I'm going to listen to them.

CRC Maf Cleaner .

I am going to try to send an email to the company within the next couple of days to get their reasoning behind no using it on a KV Maf equipped car.

My guess is it has absolutely nothing to do with the chemicals in the can and more to do with covering their *** if you hold the can up to the little resistor wire and blow it clean out the other side
