A flash is a tune...

What you need next is alky and a set of TurboTrix cams. You obviously don't mind spending tons of money unnecessarily, so you might as well go that route.

hahhaha true true but what i ment was that my car with a base flash (an over the shelf flash) then i got a custom tune. and alkey i was trying to research on that would i need to used something with a switchable maps or i can use alkey on say my current map? and with the turbotrix cams i am waiting for more people to put up there own personal reviews on them. it seems like Turbotrix themselves are the only ones getting great results with them so unless i am heading out to that area then that wouldn't be an option.
But is there any other supporting mods i can get before i take the next step such as cams and turbo upgrade?

i think Tuning Technology is using a dynojet but dont quote me it was so hot that dawm day i was exhaust on the drive there. And Word about the cams i want to wait to see more option on cam chooses i heard jun had some great results on cams for the evo9 and on top of that they made really great power on the evo 8 so ill just wait on spending $900 on cams

Don't know if Comp Cams are available for the 9 yet but I love my 272's. I might switch to 280's.

That's fine. Then do alky, licp, fmic, uicp, and a stronger BOV while running 28psi daily. With the alky, you'll need a full custom retune. It cannot be used on your current map by any means.

Good #'s, I have the same mods and for some reason, Shiv could only get 318whp out of it, he was actually thinking that the 280 was to big and the valves were possibly floating.
I sounds like the cam actually worked for you?

Yes, you can use an SAFC or a different piggyback like the Xede, but why spend all that money when you've already bought your EcuTek license? You can now get retunes from Shiv for a much lower price than the initial cost.
