95 days, Ouch!!

Your stuff looks stock. What happened? Alky tune gone bad?

That's a nice shiny engine stand that will hopefully soon be holding a built stroker.

I wish you well and hope your driving your car again soon.

I have a bunch of threads on the story, basically 15k miles on my 05, engine spun a bearing @ 2500 RPM on the freeway. Conrod nut backed off (improper factory torque most likely).. light mods (TBE/flash/MBC) and no boost at all during blow. Mitsu denied warranty, I picked up a beater and a second job

Damn right Thanks man.. can't wait to get back in the Evo!

ps: what the hell are you guys using to ship tranny/t-cases?? I looked for the "Pro-tuff" bins that shep lists on his site and the Walmart around me doesnt carry them at all. Home depot was basically a bust. The only thing I could find was big enough for both tranny and t-case, and that would be heavy enough to have to go truck freight. Any input??

The plastic bin I used to ship my tranny was big enough for both the transfer case and tranny, but I just bought a smaller bin to ship the transfer case separately and shipped the tranny in the big *** bin by itself, because it would be too much weight in one bin to do both. I just filled them both with styrofoam peanuts, but they were both wrapped in trash bags so none of the peanuts will infiltrate the various openings in the tranny/xfer case.

Thanks fre. Did you ship UPS? I think I've read on their website that the maximum weight allowed non-freight is 150 lbs. That is also the same for FedEx. The tranny should be 145 lbs or so by itself (I haven't weighed myself yet) so a large bin (or the one I have atleast) would weigh enough to put it into the freight range. Anyone weighed a 05 tranny recently?

Just gotta work for it my man. My 40 hr/week Software Engineering job wasn't enough for my mods/fixes so I picked up an additional 20 hrs/week at a Harley shop. Only day I have off is Sunday for racing

I figured out what the heck is taking so long. I guess John's employee hasn't shown up for work in a few days, so eveything will most likely be a few days more than usual. At least I got an answer.
