Since working on the car for various things, I went through as many stock bolts that I could access. Many of them loosened up. Probably from the vibration of the car. Just be carefull when tightening any screws that are directly into plastic (glove box door) because you could still strip those.

I had the A-pillar rattle that a lot of people complained about before. Now both the driver's side and passenger's side B-pillars are rattling.

I also noticed a loud rattle in the rear of the passenger compartment, possibly near the rear window, that annoys the crap out of me. I drive with the windows down or the radio up loud now so I can't hear the damn rattling.

My car seems to rattle more and more everyday. Its really starting to show the build quality of these cars which is not very good.

My ineterior driver side handle, near the window control buttons, started about 3k & somewhere within the center console holding the radio, temp control area, started about 4500 miles. Drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!! But mainly over bumps, but when I do run over an ant, the squeak lets me know. 7k on it now.

I just came from the dealer where I had them look at a rattle in my driver side B-pillar and passenger side door/dash. They were pretty frustrated when they tried to fix the B-pillar rattle. The tech came back and told me it is ridiculous the way the back side of the b-pillar plastic cover was engineered. I don't know if they broke something while trying to get it off but they said they are ordering me a new one. As far as the other door/dash rattle, it sounds like it is coming from the door panel but they said it is coming from the dash. According to them, they will not take apart the dash because dash rattles in the Evo are not covered under warranty. So they refuse to fix that rattle. Mitsu. said that they would try and fix any other simpler kind of rattles. I'll let you know how the B-pillar rattle goes when the new piece comes in.

Not one, with my stereo I figured I'd be chasing them all the time.

I have minor rattles that appear here and there, but none are ever constant. A few more intermittent rattles started after I installed my hks downpipe, but it's very rare so it's no biggie. My exhaust is loud enough to drown out a lot of the small rattles. hehe..

Beside the rattle when the clutch is not depressed (I noticed it gets even worse when I turn the AC on - it's so loud it almost sounds like something's loose) I have a plastic squeeking in front of the steering wheel, the plastic that protects the gauges. It only starts to squeek when it's super hot in the car and it's annoying as hell because it's right in front of you. When you bend it a bit it's good for few seconds and then it comes back. Goes away when the interior cools enough.

I have a solution to all the rattles you have, crank the voulume in the radio, it will go away, it works in most cases

Just kidding, mine rattles in both B-pillars, funny thing, one time it rattles in the right one then the next time in the left one, I think I have a roach who's trying to be funny, if I get him it won't be anymore. After almost 12k some of that noise is going away, so I think it has to be broken in.
