Hey I searched and couldnt find nothing related. 03 evo, My mods are tbe, aps 50/50,hallman mbc, k&n drop in, ralliart wires,ngk 7's, ecutek(tuned in 80 degree weather) Last couple of days have been much warmer(high 70's-80's) and I havent really driven my car to much since the warm weather. Also not long ago we switched to the 10% ethanol blend, which i havent driven my car with much either. Usually my boost will spike at 23/23.5 psi and settle at 21/22(sometimes 20 in 4th). Last night when I went out in 3rd it spiked to 26/27(let off immediatly) after I let off I hit it again and it spiked normally to 23.5 and didnt do it again(short ride). Went out today and punched it in 2nd, and it did the same thing, I let off, punched it again and spiked normally. I tryed ever gear again afterward and didnt give me another problem. I understand boost spikes going from hot to cold weather, but is it normal vice/versa? I really dont think its a boost leak , checked all hoses that are visible, but cant be sure... car felt very poweful when usually with a boost leak it feels like crap. Any ideas? thanks in advance.
