I will tell you right now cam gears will not do you any good. I also have the AEM with 280's and the cam gears since i put in the gears my tuner and a few other shops told me its not worth it once you go AEM. Why becasue the AEM doesnt pull as much timeing as stock does and you could do so much more with the AEM vs stock ecu. For EX. i was haveing a problem at idle so what we did was crank up the timeing and bring the rpm to 1000 no problem what so ever. Vs trying to find out what to set my cam gears at so i can get the car to idle the right way with the stock ecu. I find it a waste of money unless your running big hp then yes you would need it to fine tune it with the gears.
