I do not have a stock FMIC here to weigh, sorry. It is for sure quite a bit lighter than any of ours.

The inlets outlet on our FMIC. The intercooler pipes we offer are all 2.5". The lower i/c would be senseless to make in 3" for the stock turbo. The upper i/c pipe I could make in 3". AMS's, from the looks of their site, the upper i/c pipe only fits with their sheetmetal intake.

Mine isn't a stocker, so how much would it be for the race core with 3" lower and 3" upper.

I think the core and endtank design is superb.

I thought the HKS core is much thicker and taller. I'm not talking about the actual design of the tube and fin.

I Like the big design because where I live it is really HOT all year long. (South Florida)

FYI: I am not claiming to be right, just giving my opinion.

Thats why I posted this thread Ryan, cause of the pms we discussed, but curious on the pricing of making it a 3" piping kit to go along with it. if you can do something like that polished upper flanged for a TiAL BOV then let me know...

Ya, it is set up for 2.5" piping. We are just selling it the way it is and not converting it to 3". I was impressed as the quality was pretty good on their cores.

Niesi: If you want a VERY tall FMIC, that can be had with some very quailty piping and a nice mini battey setup. Expect to do some trimming to get it to fit.

Buschur Deluxe: For those running stock turbo, 20g, TMI, etc... Has the LICP included. Has a look that shows like you upgraded, has EXCELLENT #'s to back it up, and is an excellent deal.

Buschur Race: For those with a BIG turbo setup...i.e. GT35 and bigger. Requires trimming and is just a flat out huge FMIC.

AMS Street: Has all the #'s to back it up. If your looking to keep it stock looking, its the FMIC for you.

AMS Race: For those with a GT42

Well I voted for BR race core. I have it on my car and it works great.

I was debating on the AMS/BR and decided that the major bumper trimming is something I can't fix if I f'ed the bumper up. To tell you the truth the BR race core requires very little trimming for it to fit perfectly. Plus the price was a contributing factor.

Both BR and AMS make very high quality products and wouldn't mind having either build me a car.
