GT35R guys with 2.3L need your help

I am trying to get an idea on how much money I need to spend to make my car a 2.3L. Currently my car has a fully built race head, stock intake mani, 880cc injectors, alky and ARP headstuds. My goal is to run 30-32psi. Besides the 2.3 kit what other necessary parts do I need? What about my single walboro pump, will that be enough for me to run 32psi with meth?

1. new oil pump
2. headgasket
3.bigger injectors?
4.timing belt?

thanks!

Send it to Buschur or AMS and have it built right...

I'd say those would be the best two places to get a good price but a great engine.

u dont need a new oil pump if the car has low mileage and the old setup was healthy ( i reused mine as my motor was 16K only )

stroker kit (crank, pistons, rods, bearings,ARP rod bolts and main bolts)
block will be machined for the rods to clear (mine were pauter )
head gasket (OEM is very good)
ARP head studs
new timming belt and tensioner(greddy, tomei or PE)
new filters (oil)
1000 cc injectors
walbro should be maxed out at 500 -550whp

thanks guys... i think my only problem is upgrading the fuel pump..not sure if I want to spend $1200 on a AMS fuel system. I have hit 30psi on the stock block with alky. Not sure if my 880 injectors would be good for 32psi?

what about fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator?

Am running a Magnus 2.3 litre stroker with dual Walbro pumps in line, 1000 cc injectors, oil pump was original not new, you'll want a new Cometic Phusion MLS gasket with gas ring fire ring ( mine was lifting the head at 32 psi and having valve float on HKS valve springs at 7200 rpm, ) and I made 612 ATW and 545 lb/ft at 5200 rpm on an AWD Dynojet. Full boost is at 4500 rpm. Yea..she hits pretty hard with that sort of torque... Gonna fix the head lift with a new gasket and re decking of the head and changing to Supertech valve springs and retainers. There's no change in timing belt, the block is still the same height but you might wanna consider Buschurs 2.2 or whatever they call it, think they made a custom length rod and offset the gudgeon pin height bit less than the usual 12 mm to make the rod ratio better than a standard 2.3 stoker... gives you more ability to rev...

GTREVO,

interested in how you use dual walboros. Did you say one of them is external? Possible to get some pics to show us?

thanks

AS explained in my PM to you earlier, you need an external WAlbro with AN type fitting inlet and on the outlet. By running it inline in front of the fuel filter at the front in the engine bay and before the fuel rail using custom lines. Run a relay for the wiring to get signal off the ecu. I dun have pictures as yet unfortunately.

Hı everybody.I dont think, your 880's enough for 32 psi you have to change atleast 1000's.If ı were you, ı would stay single walbro.Fırstly change your injectors and see what will happen, than fuel isn't enough again you have to add your second walbro. This is my idea

No, 880cc injectors will provide more fuel than a single Walbro 255lph pump can provide at 32psi of manifold pressure.

Hey man i want to help out with this check out this link

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=202005

thats for the storker i bet if you call them they could give you the same price.

It would be a lil cheaper and better if you went with a fuel cell with the works. Vs the dual fuel pump setup. Yea you would need 1000cc to run that kinda boost as well. As far as the head getting done dont send it to a performance shop go right to the port shop and save yourself about 500-800 bucks. I could get a 1mm ported head for about 800 bucks thats un heard of all becasue im cutting out the middle man. Or $1100 if you want the porter to get the rest of the parts.
