GREDDY fmic problems
GREDDY fmic problems
i have the greddy fmic system on my car, including the lower piping, and the pipe that comes directly out of the turbo is giving me problems, not to mention the pipe after that is also givinmg me problems. The gasket is not creating a seal, and the other pips are not angled properly for a flush coupler seal. anyone else share these problems.
IM real close to putting the stock system back on!

Well, unless you have an upgraded turbo, you should be using the stock FMIC anyway.
Try to contact Greddy to see if you have the install wrong or if the pipes aren't angled properly. Or, see if anyone else on here has the same FMIC. It's usually better to stick with FMICs made by vendors who participate in the Evo community as opposed to the big namebrands who couldn't care less.

FWIW I believe that teh Greddy FMIC was the only aftermarket FMIC that was tested as being WORSE then the STock Unit. The Buschur unit however works quite well.
yeah it has been on for bought 5 months, and i did a pressure test last week, gasget was leaking like crazy,,,,,, are their any systems that are on complete pipe, to get rid of the couplers,,,,

And as far as not upgrading your stock FMIC unless accompanid with a larger turbo, ive seen plenty of cores make power on the stock turbo. As a matter of fact ive never seen one that didnt. Mitsubishi has been using the same core for almost 10 years, its been proven a weak link on numerous occasions.
