I think he said he measured it on a "Performance Meter". G-tech maybe.

I did do one 1/4 mile pass but the launch wasn't that great my shifting wasn't where it needed to be. Yes, I use a g-tech. It's actually surprisingly accurate.

True that !! if you dont tune it for where the spike hits it can be very dangerous for your motor.

Really....

My neighbor had his hooked up at the tracks and it was all over the place.
He was smiling cause he registered at 12.2@113 but the slip said 12.7@107.
Next run he ran 13.0@108 but the G-tech was at 13.3@106.

Although most of the readings he got from the meter was actually faster than what he really ran.

Are you running the Forge MBC? If so clean out the little bleed hole.

Also, like others said 23psi is awful high for 91. Most consider it high for 93.

I agree, 23 psi is getting up there on California 91 octane.

Get the car to the dyno or track and get some good numbers from it. From the looks of the 0-60 mph times the car has gained what it should have in power and performance.

Thanks for using our parts, you can contact us if you have any questions/concerns. I personally think the car sounds like it is doing well considering the big improvement in the 0-60 mph times.

I concider that suprisingly accurate. It's within 5 tenths of a second from the acutal time, that is amazing to me for one of those things.

I wouldn't call that accurate, when the game we play is often measured by tenths of a second.

Hey everyone, though I'd post a little update.

I took some advice and bought a 5 gal drum of this 100 oct gas from the 76 in town. I set the MBC to 26 psi then I went to the local track and made two passes. I had the gas light on when I got to the track and put in the 5 gal 100 oct gas. It was in the low 100's and my launch limiter wasn't raised so I wasn't building enough boost to spin the front wheels on the launch... so my 60ft was horrible.

On the second pass my MPH was way higher, I think I might've bounced off of the rev limiter at the top of 4th.

R/T 0.535
60' 2.229
330 5.793
1/8 8.656
MPH 84.32
1000 11.080
1/4 13.110
MPH 111.00

R/T 0.575
60' 2.144
330 5.692
1/8 8.558
MPH 87.77
1000 11.020
1/4 13.073
MPH 107.78

Here is a video of the first run:

One more thing. According to my friends watching at the track they were including R/Ts in the 1/4 times... which is still debatable. But I guess there was some old Nova with a 11 second R/T that did a crazy fast pass and posted around 21 seconds in the 1/4.

West Coast sucks for drag racing due to elevation/gas/temp :[ But yea not a bad mph, still waiting on my stage 1 to arrive 3 weeks later...

R/Ts are never included in the final ET. They get added to the ET for determining the winner in an actual race. The Nova may have barely crossed the line and sat for 10s, which would have caused his time to be so slow. Plus, your R/Ts were great.

Your 111mph shows that the car is fast even in 100* degree weather, but the fact you have the stock 5k limiter doesn't mean you can't launch. You should still be doing sub-2.0 60's and mid 12s with that power, so try to get some more practice.

Nice, the 111 mph definetely shows the car is making some nice power. That's pretty darn good through a cat on 100 octane!

Thanks David. I was going to mail the ECU back to you, but I my company is having me relocate to CT this weekend. I'll just get a custom tune and have this corrected once I get there. I can't wait to see what I run with the tune bumped up to 93 oct and the limiters fixed.
