(video) just installed Buschur Stage 1 on my IX...
I just installed the Buschur Stage 1 on my otherwise stock IX MR. I've talked to a few people with this setup and I'm about 40 awhp short and 4 tenths off in the 1/4 mile.
I am running 23 psi, but because I'm in CA it's tuned for 91 oct. and I'm using the high flow cat with the magnaflow muffler. Could this be part of the problem?
I also noticed that the flange from the downpipe to the cat has a mild leak. Would the exhaust leak hurt the performance that much?
Any other ideas please post them. Thanks!

I did cut my 0-60 time from 4.72 stock down to 4.40 on Friday so with a good run my 1/4 mile should be much lower.
I turned it down to 21 psi and it's doing a little better. I noticed the boost doesn't hold that well. If I go WOT at 2700 RPM in 3rd it gets to 21 psi at 3200 RPM then it flutters down to around 19.5-20 psi at 3600-4000 RPM. Sometimes it will get back up to 21 psi once it gets up to 4700-5300 RPM.
When we refer to boost levels, we are referring to the spike. Never tune your boost for where it holds steady - tune it for the spike.
23 is too much unless you get custom tuned in person - run 21.
That phenomenon with the boost going up, down, then up again is very strange, but I've seen it happen on a bunch of IXs. I've seen it on Dynoflashed IXs, stock IXs, and Vishnu-tuned IXs. Go look at some IX dynographs from Vishnu and see how the boost log does exactly what you described. I still don't know what causes it.
How do you know you're .4s lower in ET/MPH when you haven't gone to the track? You have to realize that you're stock ET/MPH are already .3s and 4-6mph below IXs elsewhere, too.
