hey yall
i just got the exedy organic single plate clutch kit
car runs and feels absolutly fine,
however anytime im IN GEAR and laying OFF the gas, ther is a heavy grinding noise comin from under the car
the noise is not there in neutral, and not ther wen my foot is on the gas
but as soon as i take my foot off the pedal, the grinding noise is unbearable
im taking it bak to the shop that installed it in the morning but any advice from sumone who has come acros this clutch will help, as i dont wanna hav anyone go bak into the tranny if its sumthin like lackin fluids

I have similar with RPS Carbon Carbon. Clutch in , on decel it would rattle with no load.

 

did you replace your throw out bearing when you installed the new clutch?

the decel noise is normal on the exceddy twin as it is on a lot of other aftermarket clutches so i imagine it does it with the single also,this is just the nature of the beast,get used to it or put a stocker back in

 

I will put the same organic exedy clutch kit saturday...
